How Can My FMIG Participate?
Prepare for your presentation with Tar Wars materials. Presentations must occur between Sept 1, 2013 and April 1, 2014. Remember: The more you present, the higher your chances to win, and the more you can spread the word about the harmful effects of tobacco use in your community.
To apply for the award, a medical student, faculty, or staff member must complete the AAFP Tar Wars Feedback Form for Presenters on behalf of your FMIG by April 1, 2014. When filling out the form, please select “yes” when asked if you are participating in the FMIG awards program (Tar Wars Challenge). You will be required to provide information about your medical school, FMIG, faculty advisor, presentation dates and locations, and medical student participation.
