Commission on Continuing Professional Development

The scope of work of the Commission on Continuing Professional Development (COCPD) includes American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) continuing medical education (CME) accreditation (of various categories); development, presentation, maintenance and refinement of existing and novel CME/continuing professional development (CPD) delivery methods and modalities; CME/CPD aspects of Maintenance of Certification (MOC) and Maintenance of Licensure (MOL); performance improvement CME (PI-CME); AAFP CME curricular framework and AAFP Assembly CME/CPD (oversight planning and evaluation of all CME offered as part of the AAFP Assembly.)
