Am Fam Physician. 2001 May 15;63(10):1916-1917.

An item in “Tips from Other Journals,” entitled “Effects of Weight Loss and Exercise on Comorbidities” (January 1, 2001, page127), contained an error in the second paragraph on page128. In the third sentence, the second statement should read as follows: “(2) participants in the diet-induced weight loss program were asked to reduce their diet by 700 kcal per day to achieve a weight loss of approximately 0.6 kg per week.”
