Am Fam Physician. 2001 Aug 1;64(3):386-387.

The abstract and contents note for the article “Management of Ankle Sprains” (January 1, 2001, page 93) contained an error. The fourth sentence of the abstract and the contents note should read as follows: “Sprains with complete ligament [rather than “tendon”] tears (grade III) may require surgical intervention.”
