Evaluation and Management of Apparent Life-Threatening Events in

life-threatening events, which comprise a constellation of symptoms such as
apnea and change in muscle tone, must be assessed promptly. Fifty percent of
these events are idiopathic; for the remainder an underlying cause, usually
digestive, can be found.
