The Clerkship, offered to medical students in the 4th year of a 6 year medical curriculum, occurs in an unopposed university affiliated community hospital setting. Emphasis is placed on the full scope of family medicine for patients and their families in the context of their community. The course is divided into more than 20 hospital and community assignments. This course procedes a required preceptorship in year 5.
