An exploration of clinical decision making that is designed to expose the student to the basic concepts of decision analysis, to their application in the clinic, and to the research methods of the field. Student may focus on a topic in the psychology of medical decision making, formal decision analysis (cost effectiveness or expected utility), or shared (informed) decision making (providing information about decision to patient).
