Comments:
Student will see patients in one of 3 Family Medicine Centers and in a rural satelite office. 1 day each is spent at a Drug & Alcohol Treatment Center, with Hospice and at a geriatric care facility. 2 to 4 half days will be spent in the OB/GYN Clinic. Student will attend a daily lecture series and also will be included in every outside activity that is presented for the residents such as Scientific Day, sports medicine conferences, casting/suturing workshops.

Comments:
The student will participate in the Family Practice Medical Service at the level of a first-year resident. The student will receive supervision by the third-year resident and the attending on the service. The student will be responsible for inital patient evaluation and on going inpatient care including daily notes and order writing. The student will be avilable for on-call at a frequency of 1/week and for weekend rounds as assigned by the third-year resident.
