The primary care clerkship is intended for students interested in famly medicine in a rural setting. The goals or the rotation is to learn to provide comprehensive care for the family. Instruction will be provided in following areas - preventive chronic, episodric, and emergency care. Development of procedural skills will also be emphasized. This course is intended to aid students in their attainment of confidence in assuming the role of a rural family medicine physician.
