Designed to familiarize students with the core areas of CAM as defined by the National Center for Complementary & Alternative Medicine, This elective will allow students working with CAM and Integrative Med practitioners in the department and in the community, to develop a cognitive and experiential understanding of this expanding and evolving area of medicine. Designing a self-care/wellness plan is also part of this self-directed/focused elective.
