This elective offers exposure to complementary/alternative medicine modalities, somatic oriented approaches and pain management. The hub for this elective is the Center for Integrated Medicine at UPMC Shadyside, Plus time in clinics covering acupuncture, chiropractic, osteopathic manipulative treatment, integrative medicine, etc. Independent readings, internet-based research, etc. is required. Students will pick 1 clinical problem, research, and present during the 4th week.
