Comments:
The clerkship is primarily an outpatient experience at the residency-based health center, which serves a multicultural population with diverse medical and psychosocial needs. Students may have exposure to Family Medicine inpatient care. Students may also participate in obstetrical care, office procedures, nursing home and home visits, sports medicine and tailor their clerkship experience to their particular educational interests or needs. Comments:
Students pariticipate in the adult inpatient teaching service at the Whidden Memorial Hospital in Everett, MA. Students function as sub-interns under the supervsion of Family Medicine Residents from the Tufts University Family Medicine Residency. Students work with both Family Medicine faculty and hospitalists as attendings. Students participate in all residency conferences. Responsibilities include all aspects of patient care.
