Course Completion

After successfully completing the ALSO Instructor Course, learners are considered an ALSO Instructor Candidate. Candidates are then required to be observed teaching an ALSO Provider Course (by an ALSO Advisory Faculty member) within one year of the instructor course completion date. If this step is not completed within one year, the ALSO Instructor Course will need to be retaken.

There is a unique opportunity for those who register for this particular course date due to an ALSO Provider Course teaching opportunity being available directly the day afterward. If you are interested in being immediately observed to more quickly gain your ALSO Approved Instructor status by teaching on the following day, please email Robyn Brumble for more information. Instructor Candidates will be given the opportunity to teach in this ALSO Provider Course on a first come-first served basis until the need is filled.
