Dr. Botsford practices family medicine just outside of Houston, in Sugar Land, TX, and is on the faculty at Memorial Family Medicine Residency, where she supervises the ambulatory clinic rotation and serves as medical director of the clinic. She currently serves on the AAFP Commission on Quality and Practice. Dr. Botsford was a Truman Fellow in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services in 2002 and was named STFM New Faculty Scholar in 2013 and Texas Medical Association Leadership College Scholar for 2012–2013. She sees each office visit as a chance to discuss prevention and lifestyle change, and she promotes using digital technology to support fitness and health by tracking meals, exercise, blood pressure, and more.
