He is a member of the editorial board of The Compendium and Inside Dentistry and is currently vice chair of Oral Health America, a national coalition of oral health advocates, and chair of Oral Health Florida, a statewide coalition. His specialty topics are oral health for medical providers, access to care, and cultural competency. He notes that health care disparities are increasing, and a key solution is interprofessional education and practice.
