Dr. Gabler practices at a community-based family medicine residency program in Baytown, TX. She cares for patients from birth to death and supervises residents as a faculty preceptor in all clinical settings: outpatient clinic, hospital, nursing homes, and even house calls. She is currently president-elect of the Harris County Academy of Family Physicians and remains involved with the AAFP at the state and national levels. Dr. Gabler believes that the greatest challenge facing family physicians is providing comprehensive, efficient, and affordable care to all patients, despite systemic roadblocks and inadequate primary care reimbursement. She looks forward to assisting lecture attendees in optimizing management of patients with neuropathy and stroke.
