Dr. Moore practices full-time family medicine and sports medicine at the Marine Corps Air Station Miramar in San Diego, CA, where sports medicine physicians, certified athletic trainers, physician assistants, nurses, and health technicians work side by side in a 5,000-square-foot, open-bay setting. He practices "80 percent sports medicine," caring for our injured Marines and their family members. "I see the challenge of family physicians as staying current in an ever-expanding world of specialization," he says. Dr. Moore started the Navy's sports medicine fellowship program in 1990 and has been teaching ever since. He first presented at Assembly in 1995.
