Dr. Muramoto practices outpatient family/integrative medicine with the University of Arizona Health Network, a 600 physician academic medical center practice serving an ethnically and racially diverse patient population. A significant part of her practice is focused on chronic disease treatment and prevention through lifestyle change. Dr. Muramoto is the co-director of the University of Arizona Health Network Clinical Weight Loss Program, which was honored at the 2013 Annual Edington Next Practice Awards for excellence and innovation in improving health and well being of workplaces and workforces. Dr. Muramoto has been teaching for 26 years. Her topics of specialty include management of obesity, tobacco cessation, and integrative medicine.
