In addition to his role as medical director and professor, Dr. O’Connor develops and teaches courses in musculoskeletal medicine for the National Procedure Institute. His practice focuses on family and sports medicine, and his patients come from military and academic backgrounds. Dr. O’Connor specializes in environmental illness, musculoskeletal assessment, and exertional sudden death. He is a past president of the American Medical Society of Sports Medicine. Dr. O’Connor believes that the most critical challenge facing the specialty of family medicine is the recruitment of young talent.
