Dr. Rowland practices full‑spectrum family medicine in the Ravenswood neighborhood of Chicago, IL. She holds multiple appointments at the University of Chicago and the University of Illinois at Chicago-Advocate Illinois Masonic and has been teaching since she finished her residency six years ago. Dr. Rowland specializes in translating new evidence into practice. She serves as deputy editor in chief for Priority Updates from the Research Literature (PURLs) Family Physicians Inquiries Network (FPIN) and the Journal of Family Practice. She won the Teacher of the Year award from the Advocate Illinois Masonic residents in 2012.
