Dr. Tran practices family medicine and emergency medicine in a group practice in suburban Toronto, Canada. His patient population is primarily composed of new immigrants. His practice encompasses the full spectrum of family medicine, from pediatric to the elderly. He has taught for 13 years in an academic emergency medicine center affiliated with the University of Toronto. His specialty topics include emergency medicine, cardiovascular, dermatology, and procedures in the emergency department. He believes an interdisciplinary team approach is an important development and that patient access is family medicine’s most critical challenge.
