Be sure to put your FMX packet in your suitcase! It contains:

When you arrive at the Orange County Convention Center, go to the Attendee Bag Pickup area in Registration (West A Lobby) and present your registration bag voucher.

Staff Ambassadors

AAFP Staff will be located in the convention center to assist you with whatever you may need. Look for the white lab coats with "Staff Ambassador" on the back.

Daily Experience News

Daily Experience readers receive exclusive conference coverage, daily programming schedules, and late-breaking meeting news in four issues distributed throughout the meeting. The Daily Experience( is also available online.  

Coat & Bag Check

Check your coat and bag for $3 per item in the Registration lobby.


Coffee will be available in the Expo Hall during the following times:

Thurs & Friday | 10:00 - 11:00 a.m.; Noon - 1:00 p.m.; and 2:00 - 3:00 p.m.

Coffee will also be available inside the Hub, 2nd level west concourse and 3rd level west concourse during the following times:

Weds - Sat | 6:15 - 8:30am; 10:15 - 10:30am; and 2:45 - 3:00pm.

Guest Policy

Guest attendees cannot attend, purchase or report CME hours. Out of consideration of others, please do not bring children into CME events.

Lactation Rooms

Private rooms available for nursing mothers in the following locations: Registration, Inside the Hub, outside the Hub, 2nd level west concourse.

Scooter/Wheelchair Rental

Attendees may order a scooter or wheelchair for an additional fee through Scootaround.  Please contact Scootaround at (888) 441-7575.  Scooters rent for $55/day and wheelchairs are $15/day.  Note: Rentals can be made on site through the FedEx Business Center at the convention center based on availability.

An Internet Access station will available inside the Hub. Report CME, evaluate speakers, and connect with the office back home.

Mobile Assistance

Mobile app team can assist with downloading the mobile app and troubleshooting questions and issues. Three locations: Registration, outside the Hub 2nd level west concourse, and 3rd Level, West Concourse.

Get Involved

Everybody WALK! Challenge

Join us for the first annual Everybody WALK! Challenge. Who takes the most steps during FMX? Join in the fun competition.

Register online( or download the Walker Tracker app to activate, start walking and record your steps.

The challenge kicks off Tuesday and ends Friday at 1:00 pm. The winner receives a $500 gift card. Everyone can participate; the app will link to multiple wireless devices. Be among the first 500 attendees to pick up a pedometer in the Level 1 Lobby, West A/B.

Soap Drive

Recycle your soap and help reduce hygiene-related illnesses. The AAFP, in cooperation with Clean the World, is holding a soap drive on site during FMX. Donate new bars or bottles of soap (travel size preferred) through Friday. All donations will be delivered to the Clean the World Foundation's Orlando office.

How you can help:

  • Bring your soap each day from your hotel room and drop it in the bin located outside the Hub on the 2nd Level, West Concourse.
  • Stop by one of the many pharmacies located near the convention center and pick up additional items.
  • Bring donations from home. The collection container will be set up on Tuesday.

No monetary donations will be accepted at this time.
