Scientific Informational Display

Successful applications meet the following criteria:

  • The work is original and relevant to family medicine.
  • The work is educational in nature, not promotional.
  • The research has met the requirement of the applicants local institutional review board.
  • The author(s) must attest to having participated sufficiently in developing the work, agreeing to take responsibility for the content.

The AAFP makes the final decision about eligibility and reserves the right to deny any application that is deemed promotion or unethical.

General Information

  • All material must be current and relevant.
  • Material must not copy or otherwise infringe upon the copyright or the proprietary rights of another party.
  • Editorial conclusions should be avoided.
  • Company logos are allowed on displays.
  • QR codes are allowed on displays.
  • A total of 20 abstracts will be selected and displayed.

On-Site Information

  • Applicant is responsible for hanging and removing the display.
  • Application acceptance is independent of any kind of support to the AAFP or FMX.
  • Only those abstracts and applications that meet a pre-determined criteria will be selected to present at FMX.
