The Primary Care Office of the Future is a hands-on demonstration highlighting novel technologies, innovative workflows and human-centered design elements that support primary care transformation. The museum-like exhibit, created by Connecticut Institute for Primary Care Innovation (CIPCI) in Hartford in May 2014, has been featured at the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine (STFM) 2015 Conference on Practice Improvement, with smaller workshops presented at national conferences. The interactive experience has helped learners, clinical teams, and policy makers envision the future of primary care, and has served as a launching point for transformation projects
CIPCI and AAFP will partner to bring the Office of the Future to life at the 2016 FMX.
