The AAFP National Conference of Family Medicine Residents and Medical Students's 2014 video contest highlights videos promoting the specialty of family medicine.
Video entries will be reviewed carefully for compliance with contest requirements and to ensure there are no copyright infringements.
Video entries will be judged by a panel composed of members of the AAFP Commission on Education and/or other AAFP leaders. Entries will be rated on such factors as originality, creativity, effectiveness of message, visual interest, and quality of production.
Prizes are valued up to $1,000. Each contest winner will also receive a special certificate. Three prizes will be awarded: 1) Best-in-Show (grand prize), 2) Top-Rated Ad/Commercial, and 3) Top-Rated Short Video.
The winners will be contacted in mid-March, 2014 and the winning entries will be shown during the 2014 National Conference of Family Medicine Residents and Medical Students in Kansas City, Missouri, August 7 through 9.
$1,000 – The Best-in-Show Winner will be awarded up to $1,000 to be used for one of the following purposes:
$500 – The two Categorical Winners will be awarded up to $500 to be used in the manner outlined above.
