The AAFP requires the use of the National Conference presentation template when developing your slides.

Send all documents to Rachel Larsen.

Information for 2017

A PowerPoint template has been produced to help you create a presentation appropriately formatted for the workshop screens.

  • *Slide 1 – Opening slide: first page of all presentations
  • Slide 2 – Title slide: add your workshop title and speaker name(s)
  • Slide 3 – Content slide: use this slide for content; duplicate as needed
  • *Slide 4 – Q&A slide: include after final content slide
  • *Slide 5 – "Let your voice be heard!": highlight the mobile app evaluation
  • *Slide 6 – "Stay Connected": final page of all presentations

*Indicates slide should not be edited.

Below are some time-saving tips on how to transfer a current slide deck to a larger- sized template.

  1. Open the template and ensure slides are set to 16:9 (on the Design menu under Page Setup).
  2. On the Home tab, click the arrow below New Slide and select Reuse Slides at the bottom of the menu.
  3. On the right-hand side menu, click the arrow under Browse and select the file you want to import into the new template.
  4. Right click on any of the slides in the Reuse Slides pane and select Insert All Slides.
  5. Review all slides for formatting issues as text and images may have shifted when transferring to the new template.
  6. Please include the last two slides ("Let your voice be heard!" and "Stay Connected") in your presentation as both contain important information to share with all attendees.
