MacNeal aims to provide exposure to the broad spectrum of sports medicine. Experiences focus on the prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of activity-related injuries and medical conditions. The fellow's experience will allow him/her to serve as a team physician, cover mass events, and counsel patients about regular exercise. The fellow works with several sports medicine practitioners, both primary care physicians and orthopedists, and has exposure to athletes at the middle school, high school, college, and professional levels. MacNeal is located in a suburb twenty minutes from downtown Chicago.
