Comments:
Graduates will be prepared to provide direct clinical services to women and children at high psychosocial, obstetric, or medical risk. Includes training in operative obstetrics, ultrasound, high-risk OB, Level II Neonatology, and outpatient MCH services. Faculty includes 9 fellowship-trained family physicians as well as OB, Peds, and Neonatology. Outpatient clinics are held in one of our comprehensive community health centers that serve Chicago area Latino and African American underserved populations with an MCH-focused Family Medicine model. Fellows are directly involved in supervising Family Medicine Residents and medical students on Labor and Delivery, Postpartum Unit, and the Nursery.
