Lutheran General is a large tertiary care community hospital affiliated with the University of Chicago. The primary care sports medicine fellow receives instruction from LGH and University of Chicago staff. The fellow functions as team physician for college and high school athletes. There are longitudinal and block rotations that expose the fellow to a broad array of sports medicine topics.
