The focus of the fellowship is to train family physicians to compete for NIH grants. The department encourages fellows to work on community-based interventions. The department has six family physicians who are competitive for NIH Grants. UW Madison is one of strongest research institutions in the USA. Madison is a great place to live. Length of fellowship is 24-36 months.
