Prerequisites for Acceptance:
1) Graduate of a primary care residency program; 2) Demonstrated interest in rural health care; and 3) Clearly defined fellowship objectives to include procedural, academic, and /or administrative skills relating to rural practice and rural health.Application Deadline: / /

Faculty assist fellows to plan a 1-year program that develops the desired procedural, clinical, research, and academic skills. Program strengths include endoscopies (including EGDs), surgery, and cardiology. OB/GYN available. Training is available for fellows who wish to sharpen their precepting and teaching skills or work with other rural programs. Research faculty and secretarial support is available for developing a research or community health improvement project.
