Candidates should have finished a family practice residency program and be board eligible or certified in family practice, and committed to a career in health services research with a focus on disparities.

Comments:
The Health Care Disparities Research Fellowship is designed to prepare family physicians to conduct independent scholarly research realted to racial/ethnic and/or socioeconomic disparities in health and health care. Fellows are expected to complete an MPH - and research suitable for publication - during the 2-3 years of the fellowship. Dr. Kevin Fiscella is the mentor for fellows during this program.
