Comments:
The fellowship is designed to offer family physicians the opportunity to develop skills in population-based approaches to health care. Fellows develop skills in epidemiology, health policy and management, community health education, program planning and evaluation, environmental health, and public health practice. These skills are developed through participation in MPH coursework leading to the MPH degree, practicum rotations, teaching, and research activities. Fellows who have completed the training program have obtained leadership positions in community health centers, academic medical institutions, public health agencies, and research institutes. Tuition for the MPH program is provided by the program.
