The program involves an intensive 12-month experience in sports medicine to include sports medicine clinics, team physician duties, participation in a Division I athletics program, and an elite International Olympic testing center. Additional emphasis on exercise physiology, biomechanics, and the use of physical activity in populations. ECU sports medicine is associated with a premier academic department of family medicine. Deadline date is 10/15 with notification in January (NRMP).
