This fellowship provides excellent clinical experience in the evaluation and management of medical and orthopedic conditions in athletes of all ages, skill levels, and levels of participation. The fellow shall serve as team physician for a high school, two colleges (LA Harbor College and Cal State-Dominquez Hills), in addition to serving as primary physician for a community clinic serving all the athletes of 12 local schools. This fellowship offers a unique blend of experience by including sports clinic activity at Kaiser-Permanente, as well as a private orthopedics practice and the Los Angeles County community health care system.
