This is a 1-year position, serving as instructor for the Department of Family Medicine at Oregon Health and Sciences University, reporting to the residency director in family medicine and chair. Patient care responsibilities: Will act as the attending physician on the OHSU Family Practice Inpatient Service for two to four weeks. Will work in the Family Medicine Health Center four half days per week, including one evening clinic session, providing direct patient care. Will be included in the maternity care, including service on the labor and delivery unit. Educational responsibilities: Precept in the family practice center one-half day per week. Assist the PGY-3 residents in coordinating daily morning report.
