Prerequisites for Acceptance:
Graduate of family practice residency program with interest in clinical informatics and handheld computers as well as interest in primary care education and research. Specific computer or Web development skills are not required but will be helpful. An interview is required and candidates should be US citizens or have permanent resident status.

This unique fellowship develops leaders and educators in primary care informatics. Included is experience in electronic health records, evidence based medicine, electronic prescribing, preventing medical error, and various research projects.
