Prerequisites for Acceptance:
Applicants must obtain an unrestricted license in Washington State by the beginning of the fellowship and have completed a 3-year ACGME-accredited family practice residency before begining this fellowship. US-licensed graduates of UK & Canadian programs are also eligible. Swedish Medical Center does not sponsor visas.Application Deadline: / /

The Swedish Family Medicine Fellowship in Obstetrics began in July of 2003. Five fellows will become expert in the care of the high-risk mother and child and competent to perform Cesarean section and newborn resuscitation. Over 6,000 babies per year are delivered at Swedish Medical Center. Our labor and delivery unit is the largest and highest rated in the Northwest, and the fellowship enjoys the full support of our perinatology group. Still accepting 08-09 applications.
