The sports medicine fellowship at MAHEC Family Med is a 1-yr flexible experience incl team coverage, community svc., specialty clinics, and family care. High school, university, and professional sports teams participate. Athletic trainers, family phys., physical therapists, and orthopods supervise in various settings. Fellows lecture to family med residents and provide continuity care for a panel of patients in the Family Health Center.
