Comments:
The available position for 2007-2009 has already been filled outside of the match. Applications for 2009-11 will be accepted in September 2008. This is a 2-year fellowship with collaborative teaching and research mentoring by Pediatrics, Family Medicine and Orthopedics faculty. It consists of about 60% clinical activities (90% sports medicine, 10% primary care), 20% research and 20% teaching. The fellow serves as a team physician at a local high school, Division 1 and 2 colleges, and mass participation events (Madison Marathon, Ironman Triathlon). Travel stipend is provided.
