This ACGME accredited fellowship focuses on developing expertise in care of the elderly in primary care, tertiary care, and community settings. Sites include the University of Iowa Hospital, a rehabilitation hospital, area nursing facilities, outreach clinics, and nearby VA Hospital. The fellow works closely with several geriatricians, a multidisciplinary geriatrics team, and community providers. Opportunities are tailored to meet individual fellows goals.
