The Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholars Program is a two-year fellowship for physicians interested in clinical research and health care leadership. The fellowship provides rigorous training in clincial and health services research, health policy, and community-based health research. Under the guidance of mentors, Scholars will conduct two or more independent research projects during the fellowship. The fellowship is offered at 4 sites: UCLA, U MI, UPenn, and Yale. Physicians typically apply in their 2nd year of residency. for a start date after the end of their third year of residency. Surgeons can apply in their 1st year of residency. Application deadline is February 27, 2009.
