Based in a county hospital, we train FPs to provide care to underserved urban populations. Our fellowship is oriented toward recent residency graduates and focuses on academic and leadership skills needed to make a successful transition to faculty status. In addition to seeing their own patients and serving as a junior attending, fellows attend weekly seminars and complete a fellowship project. We offer opportunities for community projects and an innovative curriculum to provide fellows with skills to improve health care quality.
