Prerequisites for Acceptance:
Completion of residency in family medicine/expected completion if R3. Desire to further their knowledge base and enhance their procedural skills in the growing specialty of urgent care medicine. Ability to obtain licensure in the state of Illinois.Application Deadline: 12/31/08

The University of Illinois at Rockford and Physicians Immediate Care have partnered to develop our fellowship in urgent care. Our fellowship is endorsed by the Urgent Care Association of America. The fellowship will combine a longitudinal experience in urgent care at Physicians Immediate Care sites along with specialty rotations. There will be an opportunity to work more independently in the University of Illinois after-hours walk-in clinic.
