Come and join us in Rhode Island! Our Maternal Child Health Fellowship is co-directed by the Department of Family Medicine at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, a local federally-funded health center, and an area obstetrical practice. Fellows are trained in advanced obstetric care including cesarean section and neonatology in an underserved patient population. Our site paired with a private obstetrical office requires Spanish proficiency; the other site does not. Course length ranges from 12-24 months, with the latter schedule including the full course work for an MPH from the School of Public Health at Brown University. Graduates will gain the skills necessary to organize, direct, and evaluate community based MCH programs, among other important leadership skills. Benefits and malpractice insurance are included.
