Our fellowship is administered by the University of Florida Department of Geriatrics and the GRECC at the Gainsville VA. A second year is offered to fellows who want an academic career. A distinctly positive learning environment serves to develop expertise in compassionate elder care. One half day per week is spent on research/scholarly activity. Fellows provide leadership to interdisciplinary teams and teach residents and medical students.
