The fellowship is intended for advanced obstetrical training for family physicians interested in mastery of surgical deliveries, including cesarean sections (150-200) and surgical deliveries (25-50). There will also be training in vaginal deliveries (200-400), post-partum D&C (30-50), manual removal of placenta (20-50), term amniocentesis (5-25), postpartum tubal ligation (25-50) and obstetrical ultrasound (100-300).
