MD/DO degree from LCME-accredited Medical Schools in US or Canada. Completed 3 year ACGME or AOA-accredited family medicine residency (BC/BE) Minnesota medical license; DEA certificate; no H-1 or J-1 visas.

Comments:
The SMDC Health System offers a 1 year fellowship for family medicine physicians who desire advanced training in obstetrics and procedural medicine subsequent to medical practice in rural locations. Four months of training will be dedicated to routine and high-risk OB and C-sections. Eight months of training includes emergency medicine, trauma, electives and practice in a regional outpatient setting.
