The Women's Heatlh/Obstetrics Fellowship is designed to provide family physicians the opportunity to develop surgical skills in obstetrics and provide complete care of the woman, obstetric and newborn patient. The program was developed for family physicians who plan to practice in communities where specialist support may not be immediately available and is ideal for the academic family physician interested in teaching obstetrics within a residency program. All training takes place in Jackson Memorial Hospital Health System in areas of Labor & Delivery, GYN ER, GYN Triage, Outpatient clinics and Jefferson Reaves Senior Health Center.
