Comments:
The fellowship aims to develop leaders who will promote and teach full-spectrum women's reproductive health in family medicine. The fellow will be a "trainer in training", learning to perform and to teach early abortion, IUD insertion, first trimester ultrasound and realted procedures. Under the mentorship of fellowship faculty, the fellow will participate in advocacy and academic projects. Travel is involved for both training and academic meetings. Family medicine continuity patients will be seen at the residency site.
